The purple Wood Spurge is a semi-evergreen perennial with narrow, oval, light green leaves suffused with plum purple. It is at its best in spring, with its large flower heads of yellow bracts: a stunning combination.
A rather special hybrid Euphorbia, makes a neat compact small mound of blue green evergreen foliage the bright yellow green flowers with an attractive red centre flower from early spring right through the summer.
Originating from S. Europe but quite happy here, a curious plant producing long evergreen trails of triangular shaped grey green leaves, during spring bright green yellow flowers appear. A must for dry banks and walls.
