Bakers Delicious is a fantastic early cooking apple, a true pleasure to eat with its acidic taste, a really juicy apple with lots of sugar and an intense flavour. Bakers Delicious is a very handsome apple with bright orange flushes over the skin and a deep cream, crispy flesh. Apple Bakers Delicious originated from Wales in approximately 1932

Our Apple Bakers Delicious bare rooted trees are lifted at the start of the bare root season in November, when the apple trees become dormant, and made available through to March the following year. This period is the ideal time for economical planting. You will however have to wait a year to pick your crop as bare root trees cannot be picked in their first year. For all year round planting why not choose from our selection of container grown apple trees. They do cost more but are older, more established and ready to crop.
