JASMINUM OFFICINALE FIONA SUNRISE

This rather spectacular form of Jasminum officinale has creamy white heavily scented flowers in late summer, set off well by the golden foliage which improves in colour as the plants mature. Found in a batch of seedlings in a West Country nursery and named after the person who spotted this very attractive form.

Jasminum officinale Fiona Sunrise would benefit fom some shelter, and depending on the weather and the placement of the plants these Jasmines may stay evergreen if they are in a sheltered spot and have a mild winter.

To encourage more flowering prune out the thin old shoots after the flowers have finished in September.
