API ETOILE APPLE

Api Etoile is an extremely rare apple, small and attractive, brightly flushed red over the yellow skin. Apple Api Etoile is sweet tasting with a crisp flesh interior, this apple is delicious to eat and a heavy cropper. Apple Api Etoile originally appeared in France in approximately 1628 and later made its way across the channel to England where it became extremely popular, decorating Victorian tables.

Our Apple Api Etoile bare rooted trees are lifted at the start of the bare root season in November, when the apple trees become dormant, and made available through to March the following year. This period is the ideal time for economical planting. You will however have to wait a year to pick your crop as bare root trees cannot be picked in their first year. For all year round planting why not choose from our selection of container grown apple trees. They do cost more but are older, more established and ready to crop.
