BEAUTY OF KENT APPLE
Beauty of Kent is a rare apple that as its name suggests, originated from Kent. The golden yellow textured skin has a reddish pink flush over that gives it an extremely appealing look. Apple Beauty of Kent was an incredibly popular Victorian cooking apple with its sharp, textured taste and crisp flesh. This apple is a forgotten gem.
Our Apple Beauty of Kent bare rooted trees are lifted at the start of the bare root season in November, when the apple trees become dormant, and made available through to March the following year. This period is the ideal time for economical planting. You will however have to wait a year to pick your crop as bare root trees cannot be picked in their first year. For all year round planting why not choose from our selection of container grown apple trees. They do cost more but are older, more established and ready to crop.
Available in economy and premium selection
Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
