BLENHEIM ORANGE APPLE

Blenheim Orange is an extremely popular English apple and primarily a cooker. Its round classic shape has textured green skin with pink to red flushing streaking across. Apple Blenheim Orange has a crispy almost white flesh interior with a distinctive tart taste cooking to a wonderfully stiff puree. Apple Blenheim Orange also goes suitably well with cheese due to its nutty flavour and crumbly texture.

Our Apple Blenheim Orange bare rooted trees are lifted at the start of the bare root season in November, when the apple trees become dormant, and made available through to March the following year. This period is the ideal time for economical planting. You will however have to wait a year to pick your crop as bare root trees cannot be picked in their first year. For all year round planting why not choose from our selection of container grown apple trees. They do cost more but are older, more established and ready to crop.
