CHIVERS DELIGHT APPLE

Chivers Delight produces an attractive medium sized late apple. Golden skinned with red flush and stripes on one side. Good crops of round, sweet, honeyed flavoured juicy fruit with a nice crunch to it. Bred in 1920 by Stephen Chivers, one of the famous Chivers jams and preserves family of Histon, Cambridgeshire. Stores well keeping its texture and crispness. An all round easy to grow and first rate apple that should be better known.

Our Apple Chivers Delight bare rooted trees are available from November through to March when the apple trees are dormant; this is the ideal time for planting. Our bare rooted trees are then transferred to pots once the season has come to an end and are made available for planting all year round.

Available in economy and premium selection

Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
