Common Box. A large evergreen shrub or small tree with dense masses of small dark green leaves that have a distinctive aroma. It takes well to clipping and topiary. Small, petalless flowers are produced in spring.

Buxus sempervirens Arborescens


Buxus Arborescens is a strong growing form and often encountered as a small tree. A thick canopy of large very dark green leaves. a good choice for screening hedgerow.


A medium to large evergreenshrub sometimes also called 'Buxus Aurea Maculata' Leaves are splashed and streaked with golden yellow. Like most Box Buxus Aureovariegata is quite happy if pot grown and makes a good individual specimen plant.
