“You only want to plant a hedge once so buy the best and invest in quality English grown plants”
Box is an evergreen shrub or small tree with dense masses of small dark green leaves that have a distinctive aroma. Box takes well to clipping and topiary.
Box has small, petal-less flowers that are produced in spring. Buxus sempervirens is easy to grow in most conditions.
Our container grown Box hedge plants are English grown from genuine English origin stock in our own special 100% peat free compost. This produces plants with their own established root system for a higher degree of transplanting success. Although more expensive than bare root, our container grown Box hedge plants are often older and larger giving you a more established looking hedge sooner. They also have the advantage of being able to be planted all year round. Cheaper alternatives are often not English grown, but imported from continental Europe. As growers with over 40 years of growing experience we are happy to pass on our knowledge and advice. Don’t compromise on quality. When you want the best choose quality English grown, English origin Box from Botanica.
