Santolina Chamaecyparis, also known as Cotton Lavender. Low growing mound forming, evergreen shrubs with dense grey silvery finely divided foliage. Masses of dainty yellow flowers on tall stems in July. Makes a charming low hedge a sunny position and well drained soil.
Our container grown Cotton Lavender hedge plants are English grown from genuine English origin stock in our own special 100% peat free compost. This produces plants with their own established root system for a higher degree of transplanting success. Although more expensive than bare root, our container grown Cotton Lavender hedge plants are often older and larger giving you a more established looking hedge sooner. They also have the advantage of being able to be planted all year round. Cheaper alternatives are often not English grown, but imported from continental Europe. As growers with over 40 years of growing experience we are happy to pass on our knowledge and advice. Don’t compromise on quality. When you want the best choose quality English grown, English origin Cotton Lavender from Botanica.
