WILD CLARY (SALVIA VERBENACA)

Wild Clary has an open-mouthed flower, hooded above. The flowers are soft purple on erect, hairy stems. The grey-green leaves are wrinkled and ovate. Wild clary is strongly aromatic and has been used in teas and as a flavouring. It's an attractive plant in its own right but it should not be confused with much rarer meadow clary (Salvia pratensis).

Available in economy and premium selection

Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
