This very compact variegated form of Tree Ivy is a cross like other Fatsia’s between the Japanese Fatsia and the Irish Ivy, (Hedera hibernica). Normally Fatshedera’s can be used as ground cover or grown as large wall shrubs, however this is the compact form, remains smallish, growing around 1m in five years. The evergreen foliage is a grey green leaf with an attractive creamy margin.
Fatshedera lizei Variegata Compact is an easy to grow small evergreen shrub, like other Fatshedera this form is very tolerant of shade and many other extremes of planting position. Quite happy if used inside the house as well as the garden.
