“You only want to plant a hedge once so buy the best and invest in quality English grown plants"
Field Maple an outstanding and most attractive choice for native rustic hedgerows. Superb in late Autumn when the leaves turn a beautiful butter yellow remaing for several weeks.
Field Maple is a easy to grow hedge in most soil types and conditions.
Our container grown Field Maple hedge plants are English grown from genuine English origin stock in our own special 100% peat free compost. This produces plants with their own established root system for a higher degree of transplanting success. Although more expensive than bare root, our container grown Field Maple hedge plants are often older and larger giving you a more established looking hedge sooner. They also have the advantage of being able to be planted all year round. Some suppliers use the word “native” to describe their Field Maple plants but this does not necessarily mean that they are English grown or of English origin. Many are imported from continental Europe. As growers with over 40 years of growing experience we are happy to pass on our knowledge and advice. Don’t compromise on quality. When you want the best choose quality English grown, English origin Field Maple from Botanica.
