PHYLLOSTACHYS HETEROCLADA STRAIGHT STEM

A particularly good bamboo for tough and waterlogged conditions. Grows to about 5 to 6 metres, good for screening. Known as the 'Water Bamboo' Phyllostachys heteroclada has special air chambers within the stems which enable it to grow in waterlogged conditions where other forms would fail
