Found in shallow water. Plantain like leaves from which tall stems emerge holding heads of small white flowers which open in the afternoon throughout the height of summer. In the past the plant has been used to treat rabies
Brooklime is found around shallow water and damp soil. Fleshy mid-green leaves on creeping stems that then turn upwards. Pretty blue flowers in pairs appear between the leaves throughout the summer.
A common native of woodland edges and grass verges. Creeping stems and pretty light blue flowers on upright stems.
