CARYOPTERIS CLANDONENSIS FIRST CHOICE

This superb form of Caryopteris should indeed be your first Choice if you are looking for a small shrub with gorgeous deep rich blue flowers covering the bush in late summer and autumn. Even when not in flower the aromatic foliage is attractive.

Caryopteris clandonensis First Choice is an improved form of the much-loved Caryopteris clandonensis Kew Blue and was raised by nurseryman Peter Catt. This form has larger flowers than its parent and the flowers are a stunning black blue whilst in bud. Needs a site in full sun and will grow happily in dry conditions. Only growing to around 80cm tall so wants to be planted somewhere near the front of any planting scheme.

Available in economy and premium selection

Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
