ACER PLATANOIDES EMERALD QUEEN

This larger sized form Acer platanoides has brighter green and much more uniformed habit than the common Acer platanoides and which normally keeps its leader without a problem. This tough tree is suitable for most situations including town planting.

Acer platanoides Emerald Queen originated from the USA and which ultimately makes a large tree, so does need space to grow, can grow over 20m tall when mature and be fairly wide spreading, not recommended therefore for the small garden, but if you have the space to accommodate this lovely large tree with its attractive glossy dark green leaves which turn to pleasing autumnal shades of yellow in the autumn then it’s well worth including in any scheme.

Available in economy and premium selection

Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
