BETULA ALBOSINENSIS KANSU
This stunning Birch is very different to what people come to expect from a Birch as the trunk is a rich orange brown colour, peeling off in the same way as other Birchs to reveal another layer of rich orange brown beneath. The appearance is reminiscent to that of the Prunus serrula which has a similar coloured trunk but with a shiny finish to it whereas Betula albosinensis Kansu has a lovely matt finish.
The foliage is light and airy, glossy green in summer turning a lovely butter yellow in autumn. Upright growth and an easy to grow tree makes Betula albosinensis Kansu well worth including in any suitable planting scheme.
Available in economy and premium selection
Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
