Makes a real impact. Fagus Rohan Obelisk with its narrow vertical outline and attractive red purple crinkled leaves is perfect to make an instant statement in many a planting composition. The new flush of foliage during summer is a delightful fresh plum colour, contrasting superbly with the older darker foliage. Makes a relatively small tree. Prefers good free draining soil and moisture.
