"Thanks for helping us find the plants we were looking for - and a few more that caught our eyes besides - amongst the great and varied selection on your nursery. We are very pleased with the plants and will doubtless be back for more. Good value all round.

I recently bought an Ilex Verticillata from you and just wanted to say I was very impressed with your service from the email update of stock availability to packaging of the plant and delivery. Thank you.

Salix babylonica Tortuosa Aurea

CALL

The lovely golden form of this eye catching willow

Salix bockii

CALL

A very choice medium sized spreading shrub. It is very striking in spring when the bare reddish stems are punctuated by the emerging bright green leaf buds. In late summer it provides further interest with its many small grey catkins.

Salix caprea

CALL

A small, upright, erect branching, deciduous large shrub or small tree with a fast growth rate producing showy familiar pussy willow catkins. Easy to grow in most situations.

Salix caprea Pendula

CALL

The 'Kilmarnock Willow' a hugely popular small weeping tree, the shape of a giant mushroom. Spectacular in late winter and early spring with its display of silver and gold catkins, follwed by soft green oval shaped leaves.

CALL

Purple young shoots with silky grey catkins in late winter and early spring. A must for the wet/water-planting scheme.

Salix daphnoides var. acutifolia

CALL

A graceful, large shrub with long pointed leaves and slender, eye-catching purple coloured shoots with white blooms.

Salix elaeagnos subsp.angustifolia (rosmarinifolia

CALL

I much prefer its other name of rosmarinifolia which perfectly describes its beautiful grey green 'rosemary' like foliage.

CALL

Makes a small tree with vivid golden orange twisted stems and yellow twisted leaves

Salix exigua

CALL

A really quite beautiful small tree or large shrub with slender leaves of intense silver, remminiscant of small version of S. alba var. sericea. Its common name 'Coyote Willow' really does not do it justice

Salix fargesii

CALL

Salix fargesii, for the collector of willows, noted for its smooth shiny reddish brown stems that look like polished mahogany. Very long deep glossy green leaves.
