HEBE BOSCAWENII

A hebe not commonly available for sale. The flowers of Hebe Boscawenii are a delightful shade of mauve flowering for a long period in early summer. Makes a low growing shrub to nearly about 18 ins tall, the foliage consists of small neat shiny mid green leaves. Named after Canon Boscawen (c 1862–1939) of Penzance, Cornwall. As it originates from Cornwall not surprisingly some care needed when siting as not one of the hardiest of hebes, but quite happy with a coastal climate.
