HEDGING

We have an unsurpassed range of hedging to suit all purposes, from conservation and wildlife mixes to security, coastal and edible mixes.

Our bare root hedge plants are English grown from genuine English origin stock. They are established and fully graded transplants, not cheaper or inferior seedling stock. The difference in quality is clear. Our transplants have been grown for 2 years, producing a more fibrous root system enabling them to establish more easily with a higher rate of success. Bare root hedging plants are only available during the season November to March.

Our container grown hedge plants are English grown from genuine English origin stock in our own special 100% peat free compost. This produces plants with their own established root system for a higher degree of transplanting success. Although more expensive than bare root, our container grown hedge plants are often older and larger giving you a more established looking hedge sooner. They also have the advantage of being able to be planted all year round.

You can pre-order bare root plants for delivery between November and March
