This is one of the most popular aquilegia. It is an old variety, which is favoured for its beautiful display of flowers in late spring to summer. This clump-forming perennial is covered in a mound of soft green leaves with long, erect stalks. On these grow beautiful double flowers that are a deep pink which fade to white or green at the ends.
