AMELANCHIER CANADENSIS

Snowy Mespilus - Amelanchier Canadensis is a wonderfully cheering site in early spring when the masses of starry white flowers cover the branches just as the new foliage with its copper tones appear. Can be used to great effect in mixed hedges.

Our container grown Snowy mespilus hedge plants are English grown from genuine English origin stock in our own special 100% peat free compost. This produces plants with their own established root system for a higher degree of transplanting success. Although more expensive than bare root, our container grown Snowy mespilus hedge plants are often older and larger giving you a more established looking hedge sooner. They also have the advantage of being able to be planted all year round. Cheaper alternatives are often not English grown, but imported from continental Europe. As growers with over 40 years of growing experience we are happy to pass on our knowledge and advice. Don’t compromise on quality. When you want the best choose quality English grown, English origin Snowy mespilus from Botanica.
