ACER RUBRUM RED SUNSET

This stunning red maple has amazing autumn colours, which is particularly vivid red . Acer rubrum Red Sunset has an upright growth habit and can grow to a reasonable size.

Red maples are native to North America. Acer rubrum Red Sunset was introduced in 1960s and is not often seen for sale in the UK. Makes a superb specimen tree especially coming into its own in autumn. It is easy to grow in most situations preferring a good depth of fertile soil so not recommended for shallow chalky soils.

Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
