A new pear bred especially for tougher locations, Pear Invincible has the benefit of having a very long flowering period which helps in the event of late frosts and also means that it produces fruit over a long period sometimes from the beginning of September right through to October.

Pear Invincible has chucky good sized mid green fruits that turn to a soft buttery yellow when fully ripe sometimes with a hint of a red flush. A very pleasing juicy pear flavour which becomes more pronounced on storing. Can be used for cooking when first picked and still firm and often keeps well till end of January.

Our Pear Invincible bare rooted trees are lifted at the start of the bare root season in November, when the pear trees become dormant, and made available through to March the following year. This period is the ideal time for economical planting. You will however have to wait a year to pick your crop as bare root trees cannot be picked in their first year. For all year round planting why not choose from our selection of container grown pear trees. They do cost more but are older, more established and ready to crop.

Available in economy and premium selection

Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
