Reaching a near pinnacle of rhubarb perfection Stockbridge Arrow produces superb tasting rich red stems which are meltingly tender with a delicate zingy flavour early in the season when forced then later producing bountiful harvest of full rhubarb flavoured stalks. Of fairly recent introduction with arrow shaped emerging leaves bred by the Ministry of Agriculture Research Station, Stockbridge House in the home of all good rhubarb Yorkshire
